About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Youth Center on Ellsworth AFB. Must possess an appropriate, valid driver's license as required by local/state and maintain a current CDL license. This is a flexible work schedule with no minimum guaranteed hours; however, you may work up to 40 hours.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: CDL License preferred. Must have experience which demonstrates knowledge of and skill in operating buses capable of carrying 16 or more passengers; traffic and safety regulations, practices and procedures pertaining to motor vehicle operation (buses); and passenger safety rules. Knowledge of the proper use and routine operator maintenance of hand tools and equipment. Must possess an appropriate, valid driver's license as required by local/state law and maintain a current CDL license.
Drives one or more types of passenger buses which carry 16 or more passengers (youth and adult). Drives predetermined and/or scheduled routes or special runs such as field trips to educational/historic locations and recreation events/facilities both on and off the installation. Performs operator maintenance, such as checking fluid levels and air pressure in tires, cleaning and washing of vehicles and performing inspection checklist. Performs grounds maintenance work such as mowing, weeding, watering and trimming. Makes repairs to walls, doors, windows, floors. Makes minor repairs and adjustments to various furnishings.
