Position Summary: Transaction Banking Product and Digital Channels teams are comprised of professional Product Managers, Business Analysts, Technical Support representatives, and Project Managers who develop and support online banking products to serve our customers’ banking needs. This is an entry level position for an ambitious candidate with 1-5 years’ experience who is pursuing a career in Product Management. The candidate will work with Senior Product Managers to manage global banking channel solutions. Major Responsibilities: Monitors daily performance of global digital banking products. Provides client production support including incident management participation for triage of problem tickets, escalation, and resolution of client impact. Provides client onboarding and implementation support including inquiries related to new and existing customer setup and user maintenance. Serves as a liaison between Transaction Banking of the Americas and Head Office Transaction Banking Division, Tokyo for specific matters such as product roadmap, project plans, operating model, system requirements, legal and compliance reviews. Works with front-line and customer advocacy staff to ensure that feedback about the product experience is obtained, analyzed, and utilized to drive product changes and enhancements. Works with internal teams to ensure that front line personnel are trained on all aspects of our Digital Products; this may involve updating product demos and user guides, and facilitating training or Q&A sessions. Works with Product Managers on competitive analyses, reporting on product performance metrics, strategy planning and presentations. Works with sales partners in the Japanese Corporate Banking Division to ensure alignment on product offerings, new initiatives, and to address client concerns. Assists with routine vendor management and risk management tasks. Helps to coordinate internal communications, marketing activities and schedules. Participates in the development of requirement specifications for future digital banking products, including leadership of user testing and focus groups. Advocates for outstanding customer experiences. Supports online product deployments. Related activities may include the creation of product bulletins, updating the intranet site, user acceptance testing, and production validation activities (may occur outside of business hours). Actively ensures compliance with the Bank's Business Standards of Conduct and all Patriot Act, CIP, Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, Information Security and suspicious activity reporting requirements, and other regulatory and compliance policies and procedures. Successfully completes all requisite corporate and business line compliance training. Requirements: Candidates must be bi-lingual, fluent in written and spoken Japanese and English languages with the ability to work flexible hours to align meeting times with non-U.S. based colleagues. Candidates should have Transaction Banking experience with the familiarity of online cash management and various host-to-host connectivity protocols including ISO 20022 payments and information reporting standards. This position requires a degree from a four-year college (e.g., B.A., B.S.) preferably with a science, technology, engineering or math background. Advanced degree or MBA are not required but would be advantageous. Must be a creative problem solver who is willing to work hard and learn. Strong organization and communication skills are required. Must be able to transition from working with oversight to eventually working independently. The typical base pay range for this role is between $109K - $168K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
