You will serve as the Division Head for the Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications - Navy (NC3-N) Division within the Office of the Chief Engineer, NAVWARSYSCOM in San Diego, CA.
You will report directly to the Assistant Chief Engineer for Mission Capability (SES). You will be the senior systems engineer leading a diverse team of technical experts providing oversight to the Navy's NC3 capabilities.
You will ensure effective and efficient implementation of systems and systems of systems engineering and integration (SOSE/I) policies and processes across NC3-N programs.
You will conduct capability and technology gap assessments to provide engineering prioritization of NC3 requirements within budget and cost.
You will develop and implement interface agreements, change control, and lead the Joint Configuration Control Board (JCCB) to maintain system baseline control and deliver integrated interoperable NC3 capability.
You will engage with Navy Labs and industry to oversee technically viable NC3 system development.
You will advise NC3-N leadership of system technical risks and options pertaining to program or project design and decisions, test planning and results, cybersecurity, and configuration management.
