Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing Information Technology work ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, or availability of systems, networks, or data through the implementation or maintenance of information systems security programs. Examples of specialized experience may include: evaluating IT security plans, policies, procedures, or measures to ensure they are properly applied to IT systems or networks; verifying compliance with cyber security/information assurance requirements; identifying vulnerabilities of information technology systems; ensuring networks are certified and accredited for information security. You will serve as Information System Security Officer / Activity Contract Technical Representative.
You will serve as an IT Security specialist and subject matter expert, advising assigned staff regarding the full scope of Information Security program matters.
You will provide expert guidance, professional advice, and recommendations regarding applicable, Federal, DoD, and DON IT policies to mitigate risk to the enterprise-operating environment.
