Job Description:
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM MANAGER in the Carrier Planning Activity of CARRIER PLANNING ACTIVITY.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the pay band NH-03 (GS-13 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing management oversight of long-range program or project planning, operations, requirement, or functions (e.g. budget planning and execution, costs, technical performance, strategic planning, logistics, or schedules) to ensure the life cycle management, development, maintenance or continued improvement for surface ships. You will establish program objectives and long range plans to ensure that Aircraft Carrier Life Cycle Planning is accomplished assuring the end results meets the customers' established cost, schedule, and performance requirements
You will manage the development of policy changes in response to changes in levels of appropriations or other legislated changes.
You will oversee that overall planning, direction and timely execution of the CPA mission, including development, assignments, and higher-level clearance of goals and objectives for supervisors or managers of subordinate organizational units.
You will approve multi-year and longer range work plans developed by the supervisors or managers of subordinate organizational units and subsequently manager the overall work to enhance achievement of the goals and objectives.
You will oversee the revision of long-range plans, goals, and objectives for the work directed.
You will develop and evaluate subordinate employees performance standards.
You will assure reasonable equity of performance standards and rating techniques
You will sets priorities and aligns all required resources with organizational goals and objectives to be accomplished during fiscal year.
