Job Description:

NH-02: In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the basic education requirement for this position as outlined in the education section of this announcement (see below Education section). NH-03: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 (GS-11 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing Program Life Cycle cost estimates and analysis for weapon systems or other national security acquisitions. You will prioritize resources and integrate all efforts required to produce thorough, accurate estimates and analyses of cost.
You will ensure that proposals and contracts reflect accurate cost requirements and will obtain additional information needed to perform cost estimating and analysis functions.
You will develop, review, and coordinate assigned cost estimating and analysis products and services supporting SSP Acquisition Program(s) and initiatives and other reporting requirements.
You will develop databases and cost models comprising both commercial off the shelf hardware and software tailored as appropriate.
You will evaluate industry partner proposals for cost realism and/or other cost-related areas and, as appropriate, conduct the preparation of all required documentation including workload assessment and presentation of results.
