Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional engineer or chemist providing technical advice in the design, development, and test and evaluation of complex weapon systems for sustainment of missile systems. You will provide scientific, technical, and professional engineering guidance and acquisition advice on all aspects in the assigned program area.
You will maintain technical expertise through continuing professional education and training, symposiums, and technical liaisons with other appropriate Navy and DoD activities.
You will coordinate and liaise with internal and external customers across a broad spectrum of government civilians, military members, prime contractors, and supporting contractors.
You will plan for all related support needed in the assigned program area, taking into account the complicated equipment, software, and documentation that is required.
You will provide the required data in the assigned program area to the pertinent business managers in support of any actions to justify and defend all programs, plans, and budget to the SSP Board of Directors.
