This position is located at Leisure Travel Sales, Fort Stewart, GA. This is a Regular Full-Time position with a minimum work week of 40 hours and eligible for benefits. Progressively responsible experience, including supervisory or managerial experience. Must have exceptional communication and people skills in customer service and problem resolution and be able to supervise the work of others. A two (2) year degree (AA) with a major emphasis in hospitality management or closely related field may be substitute for some of the required experience. Experience in attraction sales and guest services is desirable. If using education as a qualification, transcripts must be uploaded at the time of application.
Provides management and supervisory duties for the assigned area of responsibility. Ticket sales for local area events and attractions; information on rental cars, taxis, ground transportation, dinner reservations.
Responsible for the procurement and accountability of tickets for local and out of town attractions, and request and maintains a library of travel and entertainment information.
Prepares budget, and composes routine correspondence from brief notes, oral instructions, or on the basis of precedents.
Performs a full range of supervisory duties. Recommending recruitment or reassignment actions, conducts performance appraisals and submits for approval by the manager.
Performs other duties as assigned.
