Job Description:

You will serve as an ELECTRICAL ENGINEER in the SSP/TECHNICAL DIVISION (SP20)/LAUNCHER BRANCH (SP22) of STRATEGIC SYSTEMS PROGRAMS.
In addition to the basic education requirement, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or NH-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: professional engineering experience with design, development, testing, and logistic support for weapons systems programs; budgetary planning for all aspects of subsytem support equipment. You will review and assess overall progress, and develops solutions for all technical, schedule, and cost problems that arise during the design, development, test and evaluation, production, and initial logistical support.
You will provide scientific, technical, and professional engineering guidance, and acquisition advice on all aspects of the assigned program area.
You will ensure that all manufacturing quality requirements for the assigned program are implemented by the applicable segment of the Defense Contract Management Agency and contractors.
You will plan for all aspect of launcher subsystem and support equipment design, development, and test and evaluation for the assigned program area; and is responsible for the overall program plan and budget.
You will plan for all launcher subsystem and support equipment related support for the assigned program area, taking into account the extremely complicated equipment, software, and documentation.
You will be responsible for development, production, and sustainment of launcher subsystem hardware and launcher support equipment for the launcher operations section.
