In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience setting performance standards and evaluating performance for the command and subordinate command prevention civilian employees. Experience listening to and resolving employee complaints, referring to group grievances, or more serious unresolved complaints to higher level management and affecting minor disciplinary measures and recommending other actions in more serious cases. Experience organizing, setting, and monitoring the workflow of the Integrated Prevention Program by managing leave and attendance, encourage self-development, tracking personnel actions, and identifying employee developmental needs and providing or arranging for training to maintain and improve job performance. Experience identifying existing or potential risk factors that can lead to problematic or destructive behaviors and recommending preventative measures and promoting a healthy climate. Experience fostering collaboration and advocating for the implementation of integrated and crosscutting prevention programs. You will supervise or oversee all aspects of the planning, managing, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating training, education, and outreach for integrated programs within the command.
You will advise leaders on prevention action plans and initiatives.
You will develop and implement prevention assessments and evaluations to ensure leaders within the organization have prevention knowledge, skills, and abilities to address gaps and promote the well-being of others within the organization.
You will manage organizational health and prevention programs to promote healthy climates and address problematic and destructive behaviors including suicide, sexual harassment/assault, substance misuse, and violence (family, workplace).
You will ensure the delivery of prevention programs and approaches designed to foster individual, group, and organizational health and performance to reduce and prevent problematic and destructive behaviors.
You will serve as an advisor and technical prevention expert within the command and subordinate commands as needed and be responsible for oversight of all aspects of the Integrated Prevention Programs.
You will give employees’ advice, counsel, or instructions on work and administrative matters.
