Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-13, or equivalent, level documented in your resume. This position requires specialized experience in providing comprehensive management advisory services on support operations programs involving space and facilities management (i.e. building management, maintenance, physical security, safety and occupational health, lease terms, furniture, communications and IT equipment); developing and presenting recommendations and alternatives to senior management officials to resolve complex space and facilities issues and problems; experience utilizing facilities management system(s) and applications to enter and analyze data, produce reports, ensure data integrity, and improve work efficiency and effectiveness; serving as a supervisor leading and managing a workforce of support specialists in space and facilities management. The position is located in the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA), Human Capital and Resource Management, Administrative Management Division, Facilities and Space Management Branch.
Ensures that space and facility management, furniture, communications and IT equipment, physical security, safety and occupational health, and lease terms and conditions comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet Agency needs.
Develops goals and objectives that integrate organization and space and facility management objectives, to include alternate workplace arrangements (e.g., hoteling).
Researches, interprets, analyzes and applies General Services Administration (GSA), Federal Property Management Regulations (FPMR), Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Department of Defense (DoD), and DCAA standards, regulations and instructions.
Reviews and approves or disapproves facilities and lease programs.
Develops budget estimates for inclusion in Agency annual budget plan review and analyzes the programs, schedules, fund and personnel requirements in order that adjustments may be made based on program changes.
Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Directs the execution of day-to-day operations of assigned employees as a first-level supervisor.
