You will serve as a Flange Turner Helper in the Production Resources Department at PSNS and IMF.

You will obtain material, plans, and tools for mechanics, assist in moving, carrying, and positioning material for cutting, shaping, and straightening steps.
You will stack material and equipment and sort, with little instruction.
You will provide journey level workers with proper equipment by size and configuration as requested.
You will cut, shape, and straighten material based on verbal instructions or simple sketches.
You will remove rubbish from work areas and prepare surfaces for welding and burning by using scaling and miscellaneous paint removing tools.
You will use of tools and machines of the trade such as hammers, saws, chalk lines, punches, squares, levels, dividers, clamps, jacks, levers, grinders, sanders, hacksaws, scratch awls, files, chisels, presses, shears, punches, brakes, and rolls.
