Job Description:
You will serve as a REGISTRAR in the DEPUTY CHIEF TOTAL FORCE, PERSONNEL PLANS AND POLICY, ACCESSIONS of BUMED -BETHESDA DET.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience managing programs within military medicine education, graduate medical education (GME), or professional healthcare associations. Experience creating and maintaining Student Affairs Records (to include documenting chronological progress and evaluating performance for consistency and compliance). Experience providing guidance to professional students to include on graduation dates, transfers, tuition, stipend, and annual training. Experience providing research input, advice, and recommendations for projects within medical education. Experience developing policies, plans, and procedures for ongoing student data entry and registration. You will develop, execute, and manage policies, plans and procedures for student admission data entry, registration, and maintenance of grades and transcripts.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and oversight of activities in the office of the Registrar.
You will evaluate best practices regarding Registrar functions utilized in the civilian education environment.
You will coordinate and be responsible for the effective flow of information about student across sections.
You will apply a comprehensive knowledge of operation of the programs managed along with their interrelationship to graduate medical education (GME) and other healthcare recruiting and incentive programs.
You will provide interpretation of program data to identify trends and develop projections.
