Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the job elements listed here: Maintenance and repairs to boilers, steam generation equipment, auxiliary units, electrostatic precipitators, and other pollution abatement equipment using chiseling tools, cutting torch, electric welder air hammers, motors, and beading tools. You will repair and replace worn air turning vanes and chain and pneumatic driven gates.
You will perform maintenance and repair to boilers and all steam generation equipment and auxiliary units such as air heaters, deaerators, and oil heaters.
You will install and repair complete steam, water, fuel, condensate and blowdown systems.
You will perform maintenance and repair on pulverizers, coal and ash conveying systems.
You will install, troubleshoot, repair and replace automatic fuel burning and boiler controls.
You will perform maintenance and repairs on electrostatic precipitators and other pollution abatement equipment.
