Job Description:
You will serve as a IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the ACIO/INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DIVISION, CORPORATE OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CTR CORONA DIV.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 pay band (GS-11/12 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: evaluating and providing analysis of, and advising senior leadership, on cybersecurity requirements and vulnerabilities and recommendations for mitigation plans for organizational information systems. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving. You will serve as the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) and recognized technical authority for information system security within a dynamic DoD Research, Development, Test and Evaluation lab environment.
You will be responsible for advising the Commanding Officer and Technical Director on the Command's cyber readiness posture in support of direct mission tasking and support.
You will interpret and promulgate cybersecurity policy and Executive directives such as DoD RMF and NIST policy, guidelines, principals and requirements.
You will coordinate and integrates all aspects of DoD/DoN cyber and information security programs for the Command.
You will provide direction and guidance to Information System Security Officers (ISSO) and system administrators regarding the accomplishment and execution of cybersecurity functions.
You will design, development, and implementation of security measures that provide confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, and non-repudiation at the system, computing environment for multiple classification levels of data.
