Job Description:

You will serve as a TECHNICIAN in the COMBAT SYSTEMS INTEGRATION, TEST AND EVALUATION DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. The President has ordered a government-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the hiring freeze. Although we are moving forward with the consideration of candidates, we will not make a selection for this vacancy announcement unless and until the position is no longer subject to the hiring freeze.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing project leadership and technical electronics expertise and guidance to conduct integration, testing, and evaluation of shipboard weapon systems for a naval warfare program. You will serve as the Naval Surface Warfare Center Port Hueneme Division Combat Systems Tactical Data Link (TDL) interoperability, Test and Evaluation, and maintenance and assessment subject matter expert and Aegis Core TDL team lead technician.
You will be responsible for planning, organizing and providing technical leadership and project management to the Aegis program, Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems, and station for TDL Interoperability.
You will coordinate and manage technical requirements between the TDL and Aegis interfaces and to quickly resolve issues on both coast which threaten test schedules resulting from equipment and system interface ambiguities and delays.
You will lead technical teams and provide project test event management including coordinating schedules, financial management, human resources and personnel management to include training plans and qualifications.
You will ensure that all related products meet the customer's and sponsor's requirements and are delivered on time, of good quality, and within budget.
