To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: 1) Developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for conduct of organization program allocations such as recruiting retention, training, and operations resources throughout the command. 2) Advising top leadership on the full range of administrative support functions, related to military/ civilian personnel, logistics, and budget; 3) Overseeing training program operations in accordance with policies and procedures to meet mission requirements; and 4) Recommending solutions to senior managers that will reconcile major problems affecting the organization. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Customer Service (Clerical/Technical) Leadership Organizational Awareness Planning and Evaluating Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
Provide oversight to Junior Reserve Officer training Corps (JROTC) programs operations.
Represent Senior Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) Programs to present while defending resource requirements of the organization.
Serve as full deputy to the Brigade Commander performing the full range of managerial duties of military officers/civilian personnel.
Supervise, lead, motivate, provide guidance, enforce standards and evaluate performance of military Professors of Military Science and their military and civilian staffs.
Conduct research on a variety of programs such as recruiting retention and training for the organization.
Oversee equitable redistribution of resources to battalions IAW organizational guidelines.
Coordinate with higher headquarters, other Brigades, and externally with Installation Management.
Advise Brigade and senior leadership on the status of contract and commission mission accomplishment in Senior ROTC Battalions.
