As part of the Shareholder Equity Accounting group at Accenture, the Compensation Equity Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Become the subject matter expert on equity accounting and share-based compensation.
Perform and communicate technical accounting research under US GAAP as needed.
Review and ensure accuracy of deliverables examples including:
Statement of shareholders equity
Weighted average shares outstanding
Minority interest
Treasury share
Share repurchase files
Key Executive performance share analysis and memos
Review all journal entries, including Performance Equity, RSU and ESPP accrual utility files.
Review equity activity (both issuances and repurchases) provided to Strategic Planning for cash flow forecast.
Review of operating and finance lease activity for the preparation of consolidated cash flow
Prepare ad hoc schedules and analysis (as requested by Senior Management, CP&A and SP&A)
Review equity sections of MD&A and footnotes of 10Q and 10K
Prepare and review sections of the annual Proxy statement as it relates to share-based compensation
Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements for Irish Stand-alone Statutory filing (Balance sheet, Statement of Cash Flows and Shareholders' Equity)
Ensure internal controls compliance and documentation requirements are met
Completion of special regulatory filings (e.g. 8-Ks and local country filings)
Manage and develop equity accounting specialist.
