Job Summary: The Project Enablement Control Office – Quality Assurance group (PECO QA) utilizes extensive experience in software quality assurance processes, procedures, and methods to ensure successful delivery of IT projects. The primary goal of the PECO QA team is to provide independent evaluation of project artifacts, assess project risks and issues, perform root cause analysis of deviations, and offer improvement recommendations. PECO QA emphasizes continuous process improvement by identifying tasks or activities that deviate from guidelines and suggesting corrective and preventive measures. The PECO QA Governance Assistant Vice President possesses 4+ years of business, technology, or operational experience. This role requires understanding of the bank’s businesses and products, the technologies used within Banking systems, the ability to decompose complex project issues into actionable components, using structured methods to trace issues to their origin, and synthesize findings into clear updates for stakeholders and leadership. Responsibilities: The candidate will ensure the quality of assigned projects regarding project goals/objectives, scope, functional and technical requirements, and adherence to quality standards, policies, and controls throughout the project lifecycle. This will be achieved through comprehensive quality checks and reviews. Review activities will include assessing project artifacts such as the BRD, Functional and Detailed Design documents, Test Plans/Cases/Scripts, and Test results created by the project team, and providing feedback/findings through the review process. Responsibilities will also involve documenting findings and feedback, collaborating with various stakeholders to address them, and providing signoff on reviewed artifacts and project tollgates. Additional responsibilities include conducting Governance process training, identifying, extracting, and analyzing data for quality assessments and improvement initiatives, supporting IT audits, reviewing project Cost Benefit Analysis/business benefits and the impact of changes to project cost/schedule/quality, and performing post-implementation reviews. Qualifications: 4+ years of Business Analysis and/or IT Project Management experience. Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies, Quality frameworks, IT Risk and Controls frameworks, Testing methodologies (manual and automated testing), and IT Audit. Knowledge of IT systems, Cloud technologies, and testing tools (ALM, Zypher, etc.). Familiarity with project tracking and documentation tools (Workday, JIRA, Confluence, MS Office suite – Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Sharepoint, etc.). Familiarity with Unit Testing, SIT, and UAT test planning, test scenarios, cases, and defect management process. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to effectively work with stakeholders at all levels and advocate for process improvements and drive consensus. PMP certification preferred. Education: Bachelor's degree The typical base pay range for this role is between $82K - $127K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
