Job Description:

You will serve as a SECRETARY (OA) in the ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT DIVISION of MARINE CORPS BASE.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing administrative and clerical support duties to include maintaining files, assembling reports, maintaining calendars, arranging travel, preparing correspondences, and screening calls and utilizing a purchase card to requisition supplies/materials. This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination. You will receive and control incoming correspondence, maintaining files, requisitioning supplies utilizing ServMart and Government Purchase Card accounts, reserving meeting rooms, and timekeeping.
You will locate and assemble information for various reports, briefings, conferences, etc., following up with staff members to ensure that various commitments made at conferences and meetings are met.
You will design, organize, and maintain the filing systems; plan and arrange the maintenance and preparation of information needed for budget reports and organizes the flow of clerical process in the office.
You will assist in the preparation, assembling and typing of Branch reports, including EPA and/or State regulatory reports required which follow stringent deadlines, and ensures that each are mailed in a timely manner.
You will make travel arrangements, and set up meetings and conferences as required. Prepare temporary additional duty (TAD) orders for the Branch based on the information from the request.
