Job Description:
You will serve as a GENERAL ENGINEER in the AIR/SHIP INTEGRATION BRANCH, ENGINEERING INTEGRATION DIV, MISSION OPERATIONS & INTEGRATION DEPT of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DP-04 (Equivalent to the GS-12/13 level) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing overall technical work in the planning, development of technical team structure, system requirements development, system requirements management, configuration baseline management and risk management across a broad spectrum of scientific and engineering disciplines to achieve satisfactory integration of Ship and Air systems. 2) Providing processes, policies, and training to ensure that personnel can manage the aviation/ship interface through technical reviews and configuration management, while conforming to current fleet guidelines. 3) Operating as a subject matter expert and technical team leader relating to research, development, testing, evaluation, innovation, and reengineering. 4) Providing engineering and technical support associated with the development of fully compatible aircraft, weapon, and ship systems. 5) Resolving specific issues related to flight and hangar deck design, aviation maintenance, service, and weapon support facilities. 6) Facilitating systems engineering support to aircraft and ship system Program Managers for the identification/assessment of 6 requirements, design critical operability, supportability, SE and ALRE interface, and mission performance parameters. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams to recommend solutions for system design issues.
You will identify requirement conflicts to maintain a complete, consistent, and traceable requirement set for a system throughout the system life-cycle.
You will integrate system engineering functions with an Integrated Product Team (IPT) to deliver assigned customer products.
You will develop test procedures or methods to evaluate system requirements or performance.
You will contribute to a systems strategic planning process by providing input on the feasibility of organizational goal.
