Job Description:

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-3 (GS-13 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing technical leadership, guidance, and oversight of engineering projects for cost, schedule, quality, and technical performance and presenting and defending engineering analyses, decisions, and troubleshooting plans. You will be responsible for coordinating the efforts of the members of the Fire Control Development Section in order to ensure Systems Engineering and Program Management disciplines are formalized, communicated, and executed.
You will provide technical direction for the planning and conduct of concept and development programs leading to the design, evaluation, production and deployment of FBM Trident Fire Control systems.
You will conceive, prepare, and direct study efforts to determine the requirements and technical specifications for major upgrades/alterations to the assigned system and support equipment.
You will ensure the specifications reflect the required operational, functional and performance capabilities along with proper allocations to the assigned program subsystem.
You will receive contract proposals for technical review and provides recommendations on the proposal to the section head.
You will originate, review, and approve technical documents, such as system, subsystem, and component design specifications/documentation, program plans, coordination drawings and schedules.
