Job Description:

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-2 (GS-11 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing and interpreting HR laws and regulations on staffing and classification topics; utilizing USA Staffing for recruitment actions; and using classifiaction standards and supplemental guidelines to establish and maintain position descriptions (PDs) and/or position requirements descriptions (PRDs) Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/0200/human-resources-management-series-0201/ Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). You will perform job analysis, workforce planning/analysis, and advise management on identifying, attracting, and retaining a high-quality and diverse workforce that is capable of accomplishing the organization's mission.
You will provide advisory services to management on staffing actions to include placements, merit promotions, and recruitment from internal and external sources.
You will perform position evaluations, establish, and maintain a position classification program to determine appropriate pay system, occupational grouping, title and grade of positions.
You will coordinate and attend recruitment fairs and other recruitment events establishing partnerships with local colleges for the recruitment of interns to ensure a diverse workforce.
You will serve as a subject matter expert in the areas of USA Staffing, DCPDS (e.g., Requests for Personnel Action), HRLink, AutoNOA, and other applicable HR automated information systems.
You will advise management on the use of compensation flexibilities to help recruit, manage, and retain employees consistent with SSP HRO policy and guidance and work with other branches regarding security and drug test clearances.
