About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Venture Center, Beale AFB, CA. This position is a FLEX and is not guaranteed hours, but may have you work anywhere between 0 - 40 hours a week

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Experience demonstrating a working familiarity with the routines and procedures followed in group activities or programs; and practical knowledge and/or experience of recreational activities and equipment, rules and procedures in a recreation program activity which has involved recreation work in the area of specialty in which the position is assigned; ability and skill in dealing with the public.
Types of duties include, but are not limited to, the following: cash handling, checks in and out equipment to customers, demonstrates the proper use of equipment, and ensures proper and safe operation of activities. Demonstrates equipment and techniques of various outdoor activities such as disc golf, axe throwing, and paint ball; sets up playing fields for sports events, tournaments, and practice games when such assignments require a practical knowledge of the rules and procedures of such activities (i.e., are not simply manual labor assignments); inspects outdoor recreation and sports facilities and equipment for security and general conditions; and schedules other outdoor recreation equipment and areas for use, with responsibility for seeing that they are vacated or returned in good order. Greets customers, answers phones/customer questions, and operates a POS system. Handles cash and processes credit card transactions. Receives money and makes change.
