Job Description:

You will serve as a TECHNICIAN in the MODERNIZATION & INSTALLATION DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level NT-01 (GS-01 to GS-04 equivalent) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying electronics engineering techniques to prepare documentation, follow procedures and drawings, to troubleshoot problems of electronic systems equipment for the advancement of ship weapons activities. You will serve as the Passive Countermeasures System (PCMS) entry level technician who will assist the senior technician in project oriented technical tasks.
You will accomplish a multi-disciplined technical and logistics effort to support OCMS on all US Navy combatant ships.
You will assist in developing and implementing of the PCMS life cycle support documentation and principal laboratory operations.
You will update the Technical Manual (TM), Access, Control, and Disposal (ACD), Manual, Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation.
You will assist with developing Key Plans, Detailed Drawings, and Location Guide Lists (LGL) for each U.S. Navy Combatant ship in order to maintain configuration management of topside equipment.
You will assist with updating inspection tablets and laptops with current LGL's, Key Plans and details drawings.
You will inspect and report requirements including a module brief describing Radar Cross Section reduction, downrange plotting, waterfall plots and decibels relative to square meters measurements.
You will be responsible for verifying proper demilitarization and disposal of residual PCMS materials from system installations and Maintenace events.
