Job Description:

You will serve as an OPERATIONS SPECIALIST in the Deputy Director, Operations Directorate S-3 of MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Planning a wide variety of exercises AND operations, researching the issues involved AND developing recommendations; Coordinating AND leading meetings with cross functional teams AND base leaders to synchronize complex OR conflicting priorities to ensure proper mission alignment. You will administer support to the Director of Operations, other Directorates, and tenant commands aboard MCB Hawaii in all aspects of planning, coordination, operations, training, and procedures affecting mission.
You will provide a depth of knowledge, experience, and insight regarding MCB Hawaii operations and capabilities in support of MAGTF, Joint and Interagency training and exercises.
You will conduct independent process, performance, scheduling, and planning analysis with authority to adjust as needed to meet mission requirements.
You will lead operational planning teams, coordinate work with senior leaders in various directorates, departments, or branches, manage team efforts, coordinate recommendations, and assist in implementation.
You will review and analyze team findings and provides recommendations for documentation, reasonableness, and compatibility with installation and USMC enterprise goals and objectives.
You will develop and provide detailed briefings and/or executive summaries to senior leadership.
