What are we looking for? Must possess a demonstrated comprehensive working knowledge of carpentry, electrical, painting, cement, plumbing and welding trades Performs the day-to-day maintenance and repair of buildings, related fixtures, utilities, and equipment throughout the organization. Must be able to operate equipment such as air compressors, generators, and cement mixers. Adheres to safety regulations and standards Maintains a current knowledge, and answers questions of other employees on procedures, policies, written instructions, and other directives.
What to Expect Leads maintenance and custodians in carrying out the assigned work as provided by the supervisor. Lifts and carries objects up to 45 lbs independently and objects over 45 lbs with assistance. Work is performed both inside and outside. Assists the supervisor in preparation of daily, weekly or monthly work schedules and ensures its compliance. Performs other related duties as assigned. This position is designated ¿Mission Essential¿. In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations (nature or man-made disaster) the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.
