The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details. Leading, designing, developing and implementing solutions for Enterprise web portal application, web services, database, integrations with multiple applications across different verticals. Leading design and development efforts resulting in well structured, reusable and maintainable application code. Performing all phases of software development for Agile (Scrum) or Waterfall methodologies (analysis, design, development and implementation). Utilizing web technologies (Java, J2EE, Angular, Angular Material, TomCat, JBoss, OpenShift, Spring, Hibernate, Spring Boot, HTML, CSS, JQuery and XML). Performing database schema design with Oracle or MS SQL. Designing and developing REST and RESTful web services and integrating with external hosted applications. Supporting commercial product domains including payments (wires and ACH), reporting, transaction initiations and application administration functionality. Building and supporting J2EE platforms with UI technologies using JavaScript and Angular. Working with Product and UX to understand customer requirements, and collaborating on the design of new features. Taking an active role in determining the architecture, technology and tools for our web portal platform. Driving development best practices, including unit testing, coding standards, and code reviews. Identifying, proposing and implementing best-fit solutions in a complex business environment. Implementing industry best-practices related to web application development concepts, design and architecture. Applying corporate technical standards, procedures and policies to resolve incidents and issues in a timely manner. Ensuring technical solutions meet business needs and that customer satisfaction with the delivered solution. Balancing a variety of tasks related to: requirements gathering, user interface design, protocol and communications architecture, database and object model design, development, testing, trouble-shooting, and software maintenance. Resolving system and technical problems, and making recommendations. Qualifications – External Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or a related field (or foreign equivalent degree). Experience: 8 years of experience in all phases of software development for Agile (Scrum) or Waterfall methodologies (analysis, design, development and implementation); and 3 years of experience must include design and implementations of portal web application; with web technologies (Java, J2EE, Angular, Angular Material, TomCat, JBoss, OpenShift, Spring, Hibernate, Spring Boot, HTML, CSS, JQuery and XML); and 2 years of experience must include database schema design with Oracle or MS SQL; design and development of REST and RESTful web services and integrating with external hosted applications; and in the Banking or Financial Services industry supporting commercial product domains including payments (wires and ACH), reporting, transaction initiations and application administration functionality. Other: Position requires employment in-office 4 days per week and remotely 1 day per week. Wage: $139,194 to $182,000 U.S. dollars per year Employer: MUFG Bank, Ltd.
