Job Description:

You will serve as a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist in the FMS Sustainment Department of NAVAL AIR SYSTEM COMMAND HQ-OSF If selected, your salary will be set according to the established control points of this position which is $142,488-$187,237
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-12/13) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing overall management of life cycle logistics/maintenance management activities in support of assigned systems during development, production, world-wide deployment and in-service support; 2) Directing logistics activities to provide initial and follow-on logistics support for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs; 3) Reviewing, evaluating, and directing changes when necessary to achieve consistency with program parameters or higher-level logistics support policies; 4) Managing and directing the efforts of all logistics personnel providing life cycle product support to assigned systems; 5) Providing cost supporting data and developing tailored application of the elements of life cycle costing based on authoritative knowledge of the unique characteristics of assigned system. You will serve as the NAVAIR program spokesman and advocate on logistics program matters for assigned systems such as aircraft, engines, airborne weapons, avionics or support equipment.
You will provide cost supporting data and develops tailored application of the elements of life cycle costing based on authoritative knowledge of the unique characteristics of assigned system.
You will manage and direct the efforts of all logistics personnel providing life cycle product support to assigned systems.
You will direct the Readiness Improvement Plan (RIP) procedures to determine the maintenance workload accomplishment as compared to the projections, the causes of non-achievement, and the remedial action necessary to remedy the deficiencies.
You will be responsible for acquisition planning and execution including schedule, technical, and fiscal management.
