Job Description:
You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the staff of the Commandant of HDQTRS NDW.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Develop regional organization structure, policies, goals, and objectives for specific regional operations programs in two or more of the functional areas: Force Protection, Air Operations, Fire and Emergency Services, Emergency Management, Safety & Occupational Health, Port Operations, and Training and Readiness; 2) Manage operational programs of two or more of the functional areas: Force Protection, Emergency Management, Safety & Occupational Health, , and Training and Readiness to include providing guidance, establishing goals, and financial requirements; 3) Oversee realistic operational exercises by preparing training curriculum and conducting evaluation of exercises; 4) Provide administrative and/or technical supervision to various personnel assigned to include various levels of military, civilians, and contractors; and 5) Serve as regional representative to effectively manage operation programs to include expert direction, opinion, and advisory services. You will develop program plans or strategies to accomplish program goals and objectives.
You will advise managers and senior leaders on program or project financial and manpower resourcing and execution.
You will direct the actions and coordinate the activities of cross-functional teams to achieve program goals and milestones.
You will convert strategic goals into policies that define the scope, cost, schedule, or technical facets of program requirements.
You will develop long-range management plans for program implementation, evaluation, and administration.
