Job Description:
You will serve as a SOCIAL SCIENCE ANALYST in the Navy Drug and Alcohol Counselor School (NDACS), Navy Medicine Operational Training Center, Surface Warfare Medical Institute (SWMI) of NAVMEDOPTRNCMD DET SWMI.
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience functioning as a member of an instructional team providing didactic and experiential instruction in the training of substance abuse/dependence counseling interns. Experience serving as the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) providing contract surveillance, administration, evaluation, and management of contract. Experience maintaining all contract correspondence such as drafts, monthly reports on program performance, and a variety of narrative a tabular material. Experience administering Navy Drug and Alcohol Counselor Program credentials for all Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard military and civilian alcohol and drug abuse counselors. You will provide training and supervision to students at NDACS (Navy Drug and Alcohol Counselor School) and assist in the development, evaluation, and revision of the NDACS curriculum.
You will manage the Clinical Preceptorship Program (CPP) contract.
You will train select personnel as drug and alcohol counselor interns.
You will serve as the Board Administrator of the U.S. Navy Certification Board (USBCB).
You will liaison with the Contracting Officer and the principal contractor.
You will maintain the certification database for all SARP Counselors including command, location, and certification dates.
