Job Description:

Lead a dedicated team at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Keyport as the Undersea Weapons Department Business Manager, where you will collectively ensure the efficient and effective administration and business operations that directly support our vital mission. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-4 pay band (GS-11 and GS-12 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector managing technical and business departments by developing, planning, executing, and monitoring the effectiveness of department administrative and business practices in support of department mission accomplishment. You will be responsible for developing, planning, executing, and monitoring the effectiveness of department administrative and business practices in support of department mission accomplishment.
You will coordinate business activities so that they align with Navy, Warfare Center, and Command financial, human resource, material management, and acquisition requirements and policies.
You will be responsible for hiring, performance management, discipline, mentoring, EEO, and diversity practices, leave approval, and time keeping.
You will apply knowledge of financial management regulations, policies and procedures including Navy Working Capital Fund, Federal Acquisition Regulations, and funding acceptance.
You will lead teams of personnel with varying disciplines and grade levels.
You will plan, organize, delegate and execute work; develop, implement and test internal controls, and interpret higher authority policy.
You will prepare, coordinate and provide oversight for personnel planning, development of workload, funding, manpower and budgets.
You will advise on operational and financial matters affecting plans and operations of the assigned department.
You will develop requirements for data calls internal and external to NUWC Division Keyport.
You will present information in a succinct and organized manner; and produce written information, which may include technical material that is appropriate for the intended audience.
