Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-3 (GS-13 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: As an engineer working across multiple disciplines such as mechanical, electronics, computer, etc.; managing technical requirements and leading projects evaluating and executing security engineering work involving weapons systems. System engineering experience working supply chain issues and risk for a weapon system. You will serve as a System Security Engineer responsible for the Supply Chain Security team and policy and process execution and improvement for all of SSP's lines of business.
You will interface with technical leads, understand system hardware and software configurations, identify risk in all life cycle environments, and manage and protect Supply Chain Security data.
You will serve as an authoritative expert and consultant of technical disciplines related to the system engineering and integration of the Trident Strategic Weapon System, Nuclear Weapon System Security, and SSBN / SSGN payloads and SSP systems.
You will advise and implement best practices in System Engineering/ System Security Engineering as it relates to Supply Chain Risk Management, Hardware Assurance, Software Assurance, Asymmetrical Assessment, and Cybersecurity processes and policies.
You will apply risk mitigations and countermeasures as they apply to systems' acquisitions, procurement, production, performance, and lifecycle.
You will execute processes in vendor illumination, component and software forensics, counterfeit policy and practice, secure Packaging, Handling, Shipping, and Transportation, and the use of System Security Engineering tools.
You will be responsible for SSPs CFIUS process, policy, and assessment efforts to ensure SSPs lines of business' equities are represented and properly secured.
