This position is located at: Fort Campbell, KY Outdoor Recreation. This position is eligible for the NAF benefits package and leave accrual. Qualification Requirements are: Basic computer and math skills, and clerical and administrative work experience which indicates the ability to perform the duties as described above. Must be able to type 40 words per minute. Must be highly skilled in written and verbal communication. Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows,Word, Excel, and other software as required. Applicants meeting the following will be considered Highly Preferred: Experience using electronic payroll or timekeeping systems (Kronos, ADP or other software used to track employee hours and pay). Experience using employee or task management software (Workday, PeopleSoft, Google Workspace, or other internal systems used to manage personnel actions, schedules, or workflow). **Applicants that meet the highly preferred criteria will be referred to management for consideration first. Performs a variety of clerical and administrative duties in support of the operation.
Applies knowledge of the organization, its functions and regulations to carry out a wide variety of administrative functions (e.g. personnel, accounting, budget,, purchasing, logistics and supply,transportation, security, etc.).
Receives telephone calls and visitors, provides required information from own knowledge or office files or refers callers to appropriate person. Follows up as required. Types various correspondence and reports.
Tabulates statistical data into final format. Gathers data and documentation for special projects and prepares briefing support materials. Establishes, maintains or controls files and logs.
Performs other duties as assigned.
