Job Description:
You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the MARITIME SECURITY COOPERATION OFFICER of COMMANDER US PACIFIC FLEET.
GS-13 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Overseeing the development and implementation of Maritime Security Cooperation programs by evaluating current operations and proposed changes and recommending new or revised policies and guidelines to ensure alignment of program goals and objectives with command strategy. You will make recommendations for new or modified policies and guidelines.
You will solicit, define and execute maritime Security Cooperation programs to maximize the impact and influence of these programs.
You will develop innovative and effective methods to improve Security Cooperation program development and implementation.
You will formulate, analyze, coordinate, evaluating proposed changes, and oversee the development, review, and execution of Maritime Security Sensitive Security Cooperation Initiatives.
You will be responsible for assessing the effectiveness of assigned Maritime Security Cooperation programs.
You will be responsible for developing strategies to integrate program goals and objectives with current command strategy, theater campaign plans and country engagement plans.
You will assist in the periodic assessments of partner nation maritime domain awareness and maritime security capabilities.
You will develop the annual implementation plan that aligns the partner nation capability requirements with focused operations, actions, and activities.
You will assist in coordinating, consolidating, prioritizing, and submitting annual maritime security operations, actions, and activities.
You will coordinate with the U.S. Pacific Fleet Comptroller to receive, manage, and distribute funding allocations from Defense Security Cooperation Agency for maritime security operations, actions, and activities.
