Job Description:

You will serve as a GENERAL ENGINEER in the OFFICE OF THE DIRECTOR (SP00), SEA LAUNCH CRUISE MISSILE- NUCLEAR (SLCM-N) PROGRAM OFFICE (SP04) of STRATEGIC SYSTEMS PROGRAMS.
In addition to the basic education requirement, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or ND-03 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional engineer performing project management for requirement analysis, technical management, program planning and budgeting as it pertains to weapons systems programs. You will serve as the Facility Activation Section Head for the Sea Lauch Cruise Missile-Nuclear (SLCM-N) Shore Integration Branch.
You will advise and serve as the recognized expert on highly specialized engineering work in support of SLCM-N.
You will address technical issues in the engineering, test and deployment phases of the system.
You will be responsible for planning, budgeting and implementation of financial plans into proper contracts or government funding actions, along with directing and technical management of facility operations and support systems.
You will be responsible for production and handling operations, IT integration, Submarine (SSN) integration, Nuclear Weapons Security systems and Strategic Weapons Systems (SWS) integration.
You will direct engineering analyses that identify/specify requirements for new or modified facilities or facility capabilities necessary to support evolving Strategic Weapon Systems and programs.
You will be responsible for the preparation, review and/or approval of all technical and engineering portions of program plans, budget submissions, procurement requests, and numerous tasking documents.
