Job Description:
You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the LIVE VIRTUAL CONSTRUCTIVE TRAINING DIVISION, RANGE SYSTEMS ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CTR CORONA DIV.
For the NT-04 pay band: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-03 (GS-09/10 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing physical and personnel security policies to evaluate material classification and manage access control program requirements for a security program For the NT-03 pay band: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-02 (GS-05 through GS-08 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying physical and personnel security policies and processes to conduct access control practices for a security program. You will serve as the Special Security Representative (SSR) for the Command in support of the Live Virtual Constructive (LVC) Fleet Training Program.
You will provide administrative support for cleared personnel and visitors managing the Access Control program, conduct travel briefings, and issue courier cards.
You will conduct day-to-day security support required in the operation of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs) following the directives of the Command Special Security Officer (SSO).
You will maintain applicable SCI directives, regulations, manuals, and guidelines to adequately discharge Command SSO duties and responsibilities.
You will communicate requirements for external support to SCIF operations such as security response force, emergency planning, communication networks, and other infrastructure matters that may affect SCIF operations.
You will serve as the official channel for certifying and receiving SCI visitor clearances.
You will coordinate all SCI security briefings, indoctrinations, and debriefings with the Assistant Special Security Officer (ASSO).
