To qualify for a Lead IT Specialist (INFOSEC), your resume and supporting documentation must support: A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Writes, updates, and maintains Instructions, SOPs, Job Aids, Process documents, and/or procedures impacting Enterprise Segregation of Duties, Enterprise Governance, Risk, and Control (GRC), and/or Enterprise Application Security (AppSec). Responsible for end-to-end process and lifecycle of access to systems and applications, establishing, maintaining, and controlling IT systems and application security, network rights and access to logistics systems/applications. Maintenance of the SAP Data Dictionary and database objects relevant to security tasks. Generate documentation for and updates to the existing SAP and other systems and application in the environment and work with IT and business units to modernize the SAP environment. Performs IT cyber security, audit, compliance for access control, application security and segregation of duty functions for DLA information systems across various programs using tools such as System Applications and Products (SAP) software security system, Security Access Control Tool (SCAT), Active Directory (AD), and Account Management Provision System (AMPS) to store and maintain user request documents and System Authorization Access Requests (SMRs). Monitors team mailboxes and responds to customer email correspondence and phone calls promptly. For all positions individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. The incumbent of this position works in DLA Information Operations (J6) Systems, Applications and Products in Data Processing (SAP) Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC), Pathlock, and Application Security (AppSec) team.
Responsible for access and provisioning to DOD and DLA computer systems and applications.
Performs various Identity and Access Management services to ensure the confidentiality, availability, integrity and nonĀ­ repudiation of sensitive and classified information and information systems.
Serves as an IA SME with regards to Access and Identity Management and all associated IA policies and procedures.
Lead the team in identifying, distributing, and balancing workload and tasks among employees in accordance with established workflow, skill level and/or occupational specialization.
Adjusting/accomplish the workload in accordance with established priorities to ensure timely accomplishment of assigned team tasks, and ensuring that each employee has an integral role in developing the final team product.
Maintain program and administrative reference materials, project files and relevant background documents and make available policies, procedures, and written instructions from the supervisor.
Research, learn, and apply a wide of qualitative and/or quantitative methods to identify, assess, analyze, and improve team effectiveness, efficiency, and work products (i.e., implement data analytics to empower team decision making).
