About the Position: Incumbent will assume complete responsibility for planning, scheduling, directing, budgeting, coordinating, advising, supervising, and reviewing of branch activities in support of lease acquisition and management of real estate for assigned leasing programs.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes performing real estate procedures which includes 1) applying knowledge of directives, laws, policies, and regulations relating to Federal and Army real estate procedures associated with the leasehold acquisition of Federal real property interests; 2) supervising a team assigned to execute the acquisition real estate interests and all associated actions; 3) resourcing a diverse team in the execution of real estate products and services. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Leadership Oral Communication Real Estate Writing Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
Serve as agency’s technical expert on lease acquisition.
Provide supervision, oversight, direction, execution, coordination, and evaluation of the real estate leasing program by leading and directing a diverse team of real estate professionals.
Ensure assigned Branch meets organizational deadlines and effectively communicate project and personnel status to leadership.
Oversee branch operations by administering training, delegating tasks, and providing guidance to maximize program efficiency using available resources.
Negotiate complex leases that are critical, controversial, and/or unusual in nature.
