Job Description:
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM MANAGER in the Nuclear Weapons Surety Division, Acquisition and Operations Branch (SP32), of STRATEGIC SYSTEMS PROGRAMS.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 (GS- 13 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Planning, assessing and reviewing business processes to provide operational oversight and recommendations for the administration of nuclear weapons system programs. You will serve as the Deputy Nuclear Weapons Surety (NWS) Acquisition and Operations Branch Head.
You will conduct extensive program reviews adjudicating issues, approving cost and schedule changes, tracking milestones and metrics and determining potential program impacts.
You will provide NWS acquisition and operational oversight of all nuclear weapons handling, facilities, storage and maintenance at Strategic Weapons Facilities.
You will lead the development of the two-year Funding Execution Plans, and the FYDP budgetary estimates for the staff.
You will coordinate with external agencies (e.g., CNO, US STRATCOM, Joint Staff, DOD) concerning NWS Program funding requirements and for requests for externally sponsored NWS Projects.
You will prepare briefings for the NWS Division Director, Technical Director, Director Plans and Programs, SSP BOD, as well as preparing program status to be used to define and defend the INWSS program at external organizations.
You will direct technical and acquisition programmatic elements; developing and modifying program objectives and directing the production and implementation of enhanced NWS related security measures.
You will make recommendations to the NWS Acquisition and Operations Branch Head for modifications and or improvements to security measures; interpreting or developing SSP and higher authority policy.
