Job Description:
You will serve as a GOVERNMENT TRAVEL ADMINISTRATOR in the MANPOWER DURECTORATE G-1 of MARINE CORPS AIR GROUND COMBAT CTR.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing administrative oversight and technical support to travelers, ensuring compliance is within the policies/regulations AND reviewing, revising and finalizing various pay issues, military orders and ensuring travel claims are processed timely, accurate and equitable. You will provide customer service for all areas of responsibility.
You will serve as the activity's Level III hierarchy GTCC (Government Travel Charge Card) Agency Program Coordinator (APC).
You will assist in preparation of efficiency reports and advise on procedures.
You will process new applications, changes, terminations, activate and de-activate cards each time a traveler needs to travel.
You will utilize a variety of software and hardware packages to perform word processing, graphics, spreadsheets, database management, and etc.
You will support the DEERS/RAPIDS ID card section determining eligibility for benefits, issues ID cards, and provide DEERS military and civilian personnel aboard the command.
You will serve as the Organizational Defense Travel Administrator assigning permission levels and administration for the Defense Travel System for the entire organizational level.
