Job Description:
You will serve as a Chief of Staff in the Headquarters and Service Battalion (HSBN) of HQTSBATTALION.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Plans, organizes, and carries out analytical studies involving the planning, development, and implementation of major programs of service headquarters-level scope and impact. You will plan, direct, manage, and supervise widely diversified programs in support of HQMC and Marine Corps commands in the National Capital Region (NCR).
You will directly support the Commanding Officer (CO) as the primary integrator of civilian managed support.
You will work through the MCCS director to oversee the provision of MCCS services including operation of the Smith Gym, Zembiec Training Tank, and Marine Corps Exchange services.
You will formulate and recommend plans to improve program policies, practices, methods, and organizational structure.
You will provide expert advice and guidance on broad projects and programs with impacts across Headquarters Marine Corps
