Key Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day operations and ongoing support of the Visage PACS, including image routing, archiving, and retrieval.
Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, IT staff, and other clinical stakeholders to gather requirements, optimize workflows, and configure the Visage system to meet clinical needs.
Perform system configuration changes, user account management, and security administration within the Visage PACS.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to image acquisition, transmission, storage, display, and integration with modalities and EMR/RIS systems.
Provide training and ongoing support to end-users (radiologists, technologists, clinicians) on Visage PACS functionality and best practices.
Monitor system performance, storage utilization, and data integrity to ensure high availability and reliability of the PACS.
Participate in system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new Visage features or modules.
Act as a primary contact for Visage vendor support, coordinating issue resolution and escalating problems as needed.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, workflows, and troubleshooting procedures.
Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA) regarding image management and patient data.
On-call rotations will be likely during evenings and weekend. Must be flexible to travel onsite to client site up to 10%.
