You will serve as a Training Specialist within CENSECFOR DET CHESAPEAKE.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Serving as the Course Supervisor for the Naval Corrections Specialist and Naval Corrections Counselor courses. 2) Knowledge of Naval Corrections System and applicable directives. 3) Ability to design and revise instructional materials to further educational development. 4) Knowledge of Brig or prison administration, operations, and counseling procedures. 5) Qualify Basic Instructor or equivalent certification with practical knowledge of education and training. You will evaluate curriculum and instruction to identify developmental and training needs of the organization.
You will identify deficiencies in installation exercises to provide solutions to unique training situations.
You will research and develop training curriculum to maintain installation training programs.
You will draft correspondence in response to requests for information.
