Job Description:

You will serve as a TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER (TECHNICIAN) in the SEA BASED WEAPON SYSTEMS/AEGIS BALLISTIC MISSILE DEFENSE area of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing technical oversight of the test and evaluation projects or programs including planning and executing technical analysis and problem resolution on electronic equipment, systems, or components associated with combat weapons systems to ensure operational readiness. You will serve as a senior level Technical Project Manager for the Sea Based Weapons System (SBWS) functioning as the Test and Evaluation Project Manager for SBWS programs.
You will oversee and manage multiple tasks and be the single point of contact to the Missile Defense Agency for live fire Test and Evaluation events on Ballistic Missile Defense ships (BMD).
You will plan, implement and direct people to conduct BMD test events both from ships and from range, assist ships in readiness activities prior to deployment.
You will facilitate the submission and execution of large and complex budgets in support of test events and campaigns.
You will lead the engineering and logistics teams in analyzing and solving complex problems.
You will provide leadership for engineering, integration, test and evaluation, and assessment of SBWS, including aggregate of systems/equipment within the weapons platform.
You will ensure proper statutory compliance for proper use of labor, travel, contracting and procurements, Ethics laws, proper handling of classified data and information.
You will manage funds and tasks for specific hull types of combat systems and mission sets.
You will schedule the required test resources to ensure that qualified test engineers/technicians are available to support the associated test event.
You will conduct recurring work at test sites, on-board ship and aircraft, or environments which require climbing, walking, bending, crawling, or stooping due to installation, maintenance and investigative activities.
