Job Description:

You will serve as a Electronics Technician in the Production Resources Department(Code 900) of PSNS and IMF.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-06) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying electronic principles to check sensitive radiation detection test equipment for basic operability and process shipping and receiving of radioactive materials. You will control access for all incoming parties to the Radiation Detection, Indication And Computation (RADIAC) Calibration Laboratory (RCL) compound.
You will process incoming deliveries to the RCL.
You will check equipment for basic operability and make basic adjustments.
You will perform radiation and contamination surveys and document them appropriately.
You will prepare documents and equipment for outgoing shipments when equipment is being shipped backed to allowance holders.
