You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the NAVAL SERVICE TRAINING COMMAND of NSTC GREAT LAKES. The President has ordered a government-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the hiring freeze. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-09) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing Microsoft Office software applications to create and maintain databases, power point presentations, reports and other analytical data to support the decision-making process; 2) Conducting comprehensive financial data analysis, evaluation, interpreting appropriations/fiscal law, regulations, instructions, and policy guidance for decision making presentations to program management; 3) Reconciling various financial systems by making corrections as needed bringing all systems into balance; 4) Responding to inquiries from subordinate activities and higher authority effectively and courteously; 5) Applying the concepts, principles, practices, laws, and regulations of financial management.
