Job Description:
You will serve as a Supervisory Electrical Engineer in the Integrated Combat Environments Division of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-13/14) grade level or pay band (NM-04) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: (1) Approving IT proposals, preparing cost estimates, allocating resources, determining test readiness, performing technical and financial oversight, and conducting problem resolution and final reporting; (2) Demonstrating experience in modeling and simulation supporting research, development, test and evaluation (RDT&E) projects; (3) Overseeing the development of lab common infrastructure including data networks, simulation host computers, reconfigurable simulation cockpits, aircrew cueing systems and data acquisition systems to support test and evaluation activities such as; aircrew proficiency training, flight test mission rehearsal, system integration test, software regression test, interoperability test utilizing distributed simulations and installed system test; and (4) Providing detailed project plans that include engineering studies, design and development plans, and support milestones for new and existing simulation systems. You will be responsible for management of functions and resources that encompass the infrastructure/integration of the laboratories.
You will oversee all operation and maintenance aspects of the Division’s assets including scheduling, test set-up and tear-down, configuration management, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, and cost recovery accounts.
You will identify end-user requirements and related targets of opportunity to form a basis for selecting and implementing new technologies into facilities.
You will function as a mediator to resolve the issues, disputes or conflicts between organizations when the need arises.
You will identify, modify and implement processes to eliminate or reduce significant bottlenecks and barriers to meeting Department goals and objectives.
You will recommend solutions to problems based on your expertise, experience, and the current state-of-the-art technology.
