Job Description:
You will serve as a MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Fuel Department, Facilities Division of NAVSUP FLC PEARL HARBOR. A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 8.64% will be added to the stated salary.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience performing Maintenance Management Specialist work equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector utilizing a comprehensive range of principles, concepts, and practices concerning fuel facilities sufficient to advise, prioritize, schedule, and monitor all types fuel asset maintenance and management. I also have experience utilizing the Maximo Database system to provide recommendations for improvement of Fuel Department operations. Examples of specialized experience may include the following: 1) Identifying and providing recommended solutions for MAXIMO software or data errors to the appropriate function/system specialist; 2) recommending and implementing policies, procedures and processes to facilitate cradle-to-grave life cycle management of Depot assets; 3) managing the collection of data to support proactive maintenance management including retrieving, sorting, and ensuring the quality of data entered in MAXIMO; 4) reviewing guidelines and regulations for plant property acquisition, inventory, control, and disposal to develop changes to local processes as needed. You will coordinate all administrative facets of the fuel facilities, real property, and laboratory operations planned and corrective maintenance systems.
You will interpret policy and identify impact to FLC Pearl Harbor fuel operations and maintenance management processes.
You will initiate and participate in a Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) initiatives and process mapping efforts.
You will develop periodic asset management schedules and annual maintenance cycle plans.
You will prepare, maintain, and issue directives, procedural guides, manuals, and other guidelines for implementation as directed by the Director/Deputy Director.
