Job Description:
You will serve as a MANAGER (Division Director) in the Warfighter Defense/System Integration Department (W), EOD Information Management Division (W2) of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-6 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-5 (GS-13/14 grade equivalency) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing technical and administrative leadership in the planning and execution of projects or program improvements to implement advanced exploitation, procedure development and EOD information creation and dissemination. You will plan, direct and execute diverse and complex programs of great difficulty and significance to the DoD, Law Enforcement, and EOD communities
You will manage a large workforce through subordinate supervisors engaged in a broad scope of technical, administrative and operational activity.
You will establish and implement division policy and vision that aligns with department policy and vision.
You will set division goals for implementing and achieving vision, establish staffing and resource goals, and work with other division managers to identify and establish cooperative relationships between divisions and support collaborative projects.
You will maintain contact with and brief the Department Head, Commanding Officer and other high-level officials on program status and opinions on emerging technical and support concepts and procedures.
You will execute second level supervisory personnel management responsibilities and ensure implementation of EEO policies throughout the Division.
